The Village Presbyterian Pre-School has been serving the community for over 40 years. The safety and security of our children is a top priority.
Our two-year-old separation program is both fun and educational for your child. Since this may be his or her first separation experience, our goal is to make this transition smooth for both you and your child. We want your child to explore his/her environment in a stress-free atmosphere. We will foster independence as well as learn to follow directions, take turns, share and work as a group.

Our focus for the year will be to learn the colors, shapes, numbers (1-10), name recognition and begin letter recognition. Language development is so important at this age, and we will constantly be introducing new words to expand your child's vocabulary. We believe children should be active learners. Therefore, your child will be learning through play, craft, stories and song. Learning will be a fun experience for your child.
We will also work on cutting safely with scissors and how to hold a pencil or crayon correctly. This development of fine motor skills will be encouraged on an individual basis.
We want to foster a love of learning and nurture this throughout our program.
